De Brandweerkantine
Head to the edge of the historic city centre, towards Sphinxkwartier and the newly revamped Frontenpark, and you’ll find a fantastic spot called De Brandweerkantine. This former fire station doesn’t need sirens to get your attention: just sit back and enjoy some excellent service and alcohol-free drinks! Their menu is famously fresh and innovative, ranging from Sicilian lemonade (highly recommended) to effortlessly cool, Berlin-inspired beverages. Its little sister, Café Zondag, can be found in Wyck. It’s another popular spot, with a similar vibe and menu.

NOON
Offering gorgeous views over the Meuse, NOON is an ideal place to grab an al fresco drink. It’s a bit hidden, but that’s what makes it so special. NOON is perfect for lingering away the hours until sunset (which is, of course, a nice extra).
