In the interest of public safety, the Dutch government is taking some extra precautionary measures to combat the spreading of the coronavirus. All shops, restaurants, pubs, cafés and other catering facilities as well as all museums, concert halls, theatres, gyms and schools will be closing their doors until at least 9 February inclusive. You can still shop locally in Maastricht. Most shops have an online store where you can easily order anything on offer. If you're already shopping locally, then click here to view all the online stores. Shops that sell basic necessities (such as supermarkets and pharmacies) will maintain their standard opening hours. If you want to know exactly when shops are open, call the shop you want to visit in advance.
