Update on corona prevention measures
In the interest of public safety, the Dutch government is taking some extra precautionary measures to combat the spread of coronavirus. All non-essential shops are closed for regular business, up to and including 28 April at the earliest. Shops will be open to customers by appointment only. Contact your favourite shop to schedule a visit and view the precise rules and measures at rijksoverheid.nl. You can still shop locally in Maastricht. Most shops have an online store where you can easily order anything on offer. If you're already shopping locally, then click here to view all the online stores.
Shops that sell basic necessities (such as supermarkets and pharmacies) will maintain their standard opening hours.
If you want to know exactly when shops are open, call the shop you want to visit in advance.
