Build your own Bonnefanten
MaastrichtThe building of Bonnefanten has gained many fans over the years, and it’s impossible to imagine the Maastricht skyline without it. And now you can build your own Bonnefanten!
Exactly 25 years ago, the Italian architect Aldo Rossi designed the impressive building to house the museum. The building is best known for its zinc-clad, rocket-shaped cupola and the long staircase in the middle of the building that leads visitors to the exhibition spaces. The building has gained many fans over the years, and it’s impossible to imagine the Maastricht skyline without it. And now you can build your own Bonnefanten!
What do you need?
- The folding paper, preferably printed on stiff A4 paper
- Glue or double-sided sticky tape
- A pair of scissors
- Optional: coloured pencils, markers, or paint to colour the museum
How do you make your own museum building?
- Download and print the folding paper below
- Follow the steps on the folding paper
- Personalize your museum with colour, glitter, fabric, etc.
