During this themed tour about World War II, a guide takes the group about 30 meters underground. Two adjacent tunnel systems are visited to get a good impression of what life was like during World War II.

The guide shows the shelter for the residents of Maastricht. The storage place for the most valuable art treasures of the Netherlands is also visited. For this purpose, a special vault was built, where, among other things, the famous painting by Rembrandt 'The Night Watch' lay for 4 years. The guide tells stories about underground smuggling routes. Experience for yourself how the residents of Maastricht ingeniously operated during World War II. To reach all locations, about 2 kilometers are also walked above ground.

Not accessible for wheelchair users and people with limited mobility. The constant temperature in the tunnels is approximately 11 degrees Celsius. A vest, sweater or jacket, and sturdy footwear are recommended.
