You can experience the Burgundian character of Maastricht best during a special and delicious tour and tasting at Wijngaard Slavante. This vineyard has about 250 vines and is beautifully situated on the eastern slope of the Sint Pietersberg with a view of the Maas and the Maas Valley. You will receive explanations about Dutch wine culture, followed by a tasting of 3 delicious regional wines from different farms.
In good weather, the explanation and wine tasting can be provided on the cozy terrace with a large picnic table or at the terrace tables. In less favorable weather conditions, you can retreat to the atmospheric wine cave.
