What started as an idea has now become DÜRVE, a space for both regional and international art talent. Bryan Claessen and Sophia Kirst are seeking fellow artists to join them in filling the space with color and creativity. Passion for form and color, and a sensitive atmosphere, are what bind the two. While Bryan explores atmospheres in architecture and landscapes, Sophia does so in the spaces in between, in the "emptiness" of the white canvas around her figures.
During Tefaf, the spotlight will be on young talent, including paintings by Lars den Hertog from Maastricht.
Among the current collection are works by Marco Iannicelli, Mitch van Schijndel, Zoë Schoonbrood, Hilde van Hees, Bryan Claessen, and Sophia Kirst.
