Soap Treatment Store

It is always great to see that big names from the Randstad are eager to settle down in our Maastricht. Although we are not hype-sensitive, we are naturally very innovative and new initiatives are always welcome. And of course we know how to deal with all the issues surrounding soigning ourselves. A logical reason for Soap to open a branch in Maastricht. In 2005, the ambitious sisters Esther Meijer-Litjens and Stephanie Litjens opened the first Soap Treatment Store in Amsterdam. It has since become a phenomenon that cannot be ignored in the world of facials, manicures and pedicures. Soap stands for everything where you can let yourself be pampered and make yourself feel just that little bit more beautiful. The beautiful spacious premises in Wyck reinforce their concept and are worth a wellness visit as far as we are concerned. Enjoy!

Donsje Amsterdam

Another special name from Amsterdam that can't wait to set up shop in Maastricht. The exclusive baby and children's shop will open its doors in Maastricht in June. What is Donsje? A high-end baby and children's brand with timeless clothes and matching accessories. Many parents will know Donsje for their super cute bunny-shaped slippers, incredibly sweet and distinctive. You will notice that refined materials and beautiful fabrics are central to the makers of Donsje. Fun to dress your own little ones in, but of course the place for lovely maternity or birthday gifts. Probably no surprise, but this new shop chose the Stokstraat Quarter as its location.

Broodjesbar JOS.

A while ago, the new restaurant JOS appeared. In an earlier series featuring New Kids in Town. Now proud owner Joske may also add her own sandwich bar to this list. We take the liberty of concluding that things are going well with what is conjured from the kitchen of JOS.! The JOS. restaurant is also located in Wyck, the same bustling neighbourhood where the sandwich bar of the same name opened. What can you get here? The most delicious sandwiches to-go, a heart-warming coffee or a freshly squeezed juice to replenish your vitamin level. This is also the place to be if you want to take your drinks menu to the next level at home, as you can shop the finest delicacies for your home.

Boutique Hotel DARQ

The idea alone makes our mouths water: the Netherlands' first chocolate hotel will soon open its doors in the heart of Maastricht. Entrepreneur at heart (and actually every other fibre of his body) Jorrit Consten has been running his coffee and chocolate shop under the romantic arches of the Maastrichter Smedenstraat for several years. At this special and intimate hotel, you will not only be able to experience the sweetest night's sleep of your life. Here, you will also learn about the complete process of chocolate making. Jorrit will be happy to tell you all about it. Don't expect a Willy Wonka fair. The makers chose natural materials with a very stylish look. If you are not a chocolate lover, 'just' staying overnight stay is an experience in itself...
