Maastricht Marketing Foundation processes information about individuals on a daily basis. In doing so, Maastricht Marketing complies with the law. Maastricht Marketing respects the privacy of the individuals about whom it receives information and treats the information as confidential. In this privacy statement, we explain which personal data Maastricht Marketing processes and for what purposes. We advise you to read this privacy statement carefully.

1. About us
Maastricht Marketing Foundation (Chamber of Commerce number: 41078147 )

2. Personal data
Maastricht Marketing processes the following types of personal data:
a. First and Last name;
b. E-mail address;
c. Street, postal code and place of residence;
d. Gender;
e. IP address and location data;
f. Age.

How did we obtain your personal data?
We obtained the above personal data from you yourself or from public records, such as the Chamber of Commerce trade register or other open sources.

3. Purposes
We process your personal data in a number of ways when you contact us through various channels, including our website. Maastricht Marketing only processes your personal data for the fulfilment of a legitimate purpose and, in general, it only processes your personal data if:

  • You have consented to such processing; or
  • The processing is necessary for the performance of a contract/commitment; or
  • The processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation to which we are subject

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

Contact form or e-mail
You can contact us via our contact form or by sending an e-mail. We then have a legitimate interest to process the data we have obtained from you in this way. We process the content of the e-mail or the message via the contact form, your name and e-mail address for the purpose of responding to your message. We keep these communications for a maximum of two years.

Newsletters
You can subscribe to our newsletters to stay informed about André Rieu and his concerts, or about events in Maastricht. To send these newsletters we process your name and e-mail address. You can unsubscribe at the bottom of each newsletter. We will keep your data for this purpose until you unsubscribe.

Image bank
When you sign up for our image bank, we create an account for you. To do this, we process your name and address, e-mail address and gender. These data are needed to give you access to the image bank and to download images. We keep your data for this purpose until you unsubscribe.

Statistics on website visits
When you visit our website, your IP address and location data are processed for analysis of the origin and behaviour of target groups on this website. We request your prior consent for this. See more under point 7 (cookies).

4. Forwarding

We minimise the disclosure and transfer of your personal data to third parties (entities outside Maastricht Marketing). This only occurs if an adequate level of data protection is guaranteed. Third parties may only process your personal data in accordance with our instructions and on the basis of a written processor agreement.

We share your data with the following parties/processors:

  • the party that hosts and builds our website;
  • our newsletter service;
  • the server administrator;
  • the party hosting our online media monitoring system;
  • Our marketing services.

We have signed a processor agreement with our processors, obliging them to respect the confidentiality of your data and comply with privacy legislation.

Transfer to third countries
As far as possible, we process personal data within the EEA. However, sometimes it is necessary to use services outside the EEA. In that case, we only work with companies based in a country designated as adequate by the European Commission.

Right of inspection
