In the Wyck district, you'll find Luna Rossa's tastiest scoops of ice cream on the corner of Plein 1992, actually up against the Céramique district. Although the ice cream is just as delicious, the location at the Onze-Lieve-Vrouweplein is also really worth a visit. At the foot of the Basilica of Our Lady, you can enjoy the delicious scoop ice cream in an old guardhouse. This is where the gatekeepers used to stay. The monumental building is characteristic of the historic city centre. The display cases full of the most unusual flavours of ice cream are truly mouth-watering!

For those who want just a bit more than ordinary ice cream: this is Qrème de la Crème. On the cosy square at Het Bat, near the Mestreechter Geis, is Qrème. A completely pink ice cream parlour, like stepping into pink heaven. No standard flavours here, but surprising ice cream such as apricot flan or 'Fennel la Belle': fennel ice cream with cherry sorbet. Yes, you read that right, flavours you will definitely take a detour for. Everything is made in-house by a pastry chef from the Dutch Pastry Team. Choose your favourite flavours and plop down in one of the lovely, lazy beach chairs. And the kids? They'll have fun in the sandbox in the back. Qrème is open every day from 12:00 to 22:00.
