Discover Céramique
Leave the narrow authentic streets with monumental buildings behind for a while and discover a totally different side of Maastricht. This is one of those places where you keep looking up to take in the impressive architecture, while on the ground it buzzes with culture and activity.
Maastricht's most modern city district
Céramique used to be part of Wyck, but its totally unique character has allowed this part of town to call itself a separate district for some time. The name of this district is derived from the earthenware factory Société Céramique, which was located here from 1863. The industrial past is still tangible in this district, while at the same time you are in the newest and most modern part of the city.
