Nature reserve on the banks of the Meuse with paved paths, interspersed with rough vegetation where great diversity of flora and fauna can be found.
De Kleine Weerd is part of the green nature area of the Maasbeemden. South of Maastricht, there is a succession of green areas on the banks of the Meuse. Paved paths alternate with rough vegetation where the most surprising diversity of flora and fauna can be found. A wonderful place for a nature walk.
The nature reserve is managed by the Limburg Landscape Foundation.
