How this cave got its name? Opinions differ on that. But if you look closely, you can spot devil's eyes in the large hollows of this cave. Add to this the fact that shepherds and wanderers used to come here to light fires to pass the night, and you can probably picture it vividly. This is also one of the places where the marl comes to the surface and also one of the smaller quarries of the Mount Saint Peter (Mount Saint Peter).
