How does music bring people together? In collaboration with Festival Vocallis, Lumière screens the classic As It Is In Heaven.
Prior to the screening, Gert Geluk will give an introduction.
Gert Geluk, artistic director of Festival Vocallis, says goodbye this year and does so in a special way: with an introduction to As It Is In Heaven, one of his favourite films. He links the film to the theme of Festival Vocallis 2025 - happiness - as well as to his personal experience.
About it, he says: "I saw this film twenty years ago. I was touched and moved, a film about authenticity and reflection. A film that shows how music and community can have a healing power, to connect and experience personal growth through music. And, not to forget, the beautiful music by Stefan Nilsson, not to mention a song about happiness."
