Lunch in the city

After the walk, it's time to settle down at De Brandweerkantine. Located in a former fire station, this creative and informal lunch spot has an open, industrial feel with plenty of light and space.

The exhibition "Porous Grounds, Sacred Codes" a joint exhibition by seven artists with roots in West Africa. Together, they create a total installation with sculpture, textiles, sound, video and performance. Central themes include diaspora, migration, collectivity and cultural identity. The artists explore how shared stories, rituals and symbols connect generations and continents. A key starting point is the idea that not everything needs to be fully explained to have meaning.
