Derlon hotel is right next to the Onze Lieve Vrouw 'Sterre der Zee' Basilica. Around the corner you'll find the atmospheric and stylish Stokstraat quarter where French-looking alleys lead you to exclusive boutiques and gastronomic addresses. A location that cannot be surpassed (quickly)! The hotel has 50 rooms, including 27 Deluxe rooms, 18 Premium Deluxe rooms, 3 unique Suites & 2 City Apartments. Personal service is paramount at Derlon, whose name is a tribute to French chef Louis Desiré Derlon (1827-1902). He opened 'Café Impérial' on the Markt in Maastricht around 1857. Derlon was a man of great culinary sense. In 1858, fresh oysters were available from him daily. This indicated great class and style. In 1870, Louis Desiré Derlon took over 'Hotel Mauel' on Onze Lieve Vrouweplein. This is the later Derlon Hotel.
