The Toneelacademie Maastricht is more than just a school: it is a theatre centre where student performances and small-room productions take place regularly. In the final two years of all programmes, students swarm across the entire spectrum of theatre and film culture. With performances and projects, they participate in national and international festivals every year.

At the Toneelacademie, you work hard. In search of your own eloquence, your inspiration. Studying at the Academy requires dedication and drive. But the shelter of the school also gives you the space to search and work for the ultimate moment when everything falls together: your play, your performance, your direction, your staging. And there is always the encouragement of teachers and fellow students. The Toneelacademie Maastricht is a household name in the Netherlands and abroad. Countless well-known (TV and film) actors have trained here. Just like many directors, artistic directors and stage and screenwriters.
