Museum Valkenburg
Museum Valkenburg presents many exhibitions and has its own collection of South Limburg history.
Anyone walking through the centre of Valkenburg will automatically pass a marlstone building with a bluestone platform. This used to be the town hall: a Jugendstil building from 1900, designed by architect J.H.C.Kröner. It now houses Museum Valkenburg.
Come in and meet South Limburg artists from the 20/21st century. In the downstairs rooms, changing exhibitions show works by well-known painters: Charles Eyck, Sjef Hutschemakers, Hans Truijen, Jacques Vonk, Patrick Creighton, Daan Wildschut. Or by Amsterdam-based Limburgers such as Lei Molin.
