Universiteit Maastricht (UM) is the most international university in the Netherlands and is still growing with its 16,300 students and 4,300 staff. The university stands out for its innovative educational model, international character and multidisciplinary approach to research and education.

Universiteit Maastricht (UM) consists of six faculties and five service centres, and is governed as a whole by the Executive Board. The service centres provide (support) services to the other parts within the organisation.
