Puss’ Poetry

On 2 September, the 14th edition of Puss’ Poetry will take place at de Brandweerkantine in Maastricht. During a thrilling evening, both emerging and established poets will present their work to an attentive yet enthusiastic audience. A curated line-up will be interspersed with recitals.
In keeping with tradition, this year’s event will also be opened by a musical act; this time, Henrik Hörtner. Konstanty Wilczynski, Sophia Blyden, Joseph Hoffman and Tink
will take to the stage to showcase a variety of languages and styles. Limestone Bookstore will once again be present with a book stall.
Anyone wishing to give a reading can drop their name into the Poetry Jar during the event, from which a random selection will be made. We encourage everyone to take part in our open mic night, and there is no entry fee or registration form required.

Puss’ Poetry organises multilingual poetry events that provide a platform for anyone who wishes to share their work. The foundation aims to create a community of poets and poetry lovers in Maastricht. Our events strive to create a safe and open environment that is accessible to all, where everyone is welcome.
