With his first museum solo exhibition in the Netherlands, Giorgio Andreotta Calò transforms the Hedge House into an immersive installation. He approaches the Wiel Arets-designed building as a living entity and presents existing and new sculptures in a coherent ecosystem of light, matter and time.

The exhibition starts from the buitenplaats's powerful relationship with water, an element that both endows and destroys life, as the flooding of the Hedge House in 2021 made painfully clear. Calò makes subjects such as our relationship with nature and climate subtly palpable, inviting visitors to a different experience of time and space.
