Freedom meal "de Vrijheidsloper"

In the Netherlands, we may celebrate living in freedom. But freedom can never be taken for granted - not here, and not in the rest of the world. Only by really continuing to meet each other do we realise what freedom is really worth. And if we do so with many, freedom can last. This is why the Wittevrouwenveld Neighbourhood Network, in cooperation with the entrepreneurs on the Wittevrouwenplein, organises the Freedom Meal: sitting at the table together, talking about freedom and unfreedom.

The (free) meal consists of a Freedom Soup, a recipe by Janny van der Heijden (known from "heel Holland bakt", a nice well-filled sandwich by Farèn and for dessert an ice cream from Smullies. Soft drinks will be provided by Astrid from café de Kokerel.
