In the cabaret performance Verbinding Verbroken, music and poetry merge into cabaret with a big story. In it, Aileen gives a glimpse into the vulnerable story of the broken connection with herself and how this connection was slowly re-established.
A special book of poetry
In 2025, she released her collection of poems Wervelkind. An autobiographical book of poetry that poetically translates the story of chaos, struggling to 'be' and the challenge of loving yourself in the same way you love your surroundings. The core message of her poetry collection, which she carries throughout all her stories, is "love, you just have to be there".
