Kids’ Museum Night

A great art adventure for children
Museum Night Maastricht is celebrating its 10th anniversary and is marking the occasion for the first time with a special Museum Night Kids. Children aged 4 to 12 and their grown-ups are welcome to a free evening full of art, music, games and adventure.

In and around the ‘ Bordenhal ’, the ‘ Bonnefanten ’ and ‘ Centre Céramique ’, the surroundings are transformed into one big art adventure. The public spaces between the venues are also part of the experience. Children can explore, create, play, watch, listen and be amazed. They’ll step into a glow-in-the-dark theatre performance, dance at a silent disco, help build art installations and have their look transformed at the Glow-Up Station.

There’s plenty to do outdoors too, including giant mechanical turtles, madcap games and a cosy food truck courtyard. The evening rounds off with a festive after-party featuring a real kids’ DJ.

Museum Night Maastricht aims to introduce children to art and culture in an accessible and playful way. That is why Museum Night Kids is free to attend. However, booking is required.
