The Friday Market has around 400 stalls, making it one of the largest departmental markets in the Euregio. Very well known is the fish market on the adjacent Boschstraat with weekly customers from Belgium and northern France. The market also has a wide range of fabrics and haberdashery.
The Friday market has recently expanded to include 2 adjacent streets: Mosae Forum with a substantial flower and plant market and Hoenderstraat where more innovative market concepts find their place.
The Friday market was named Best Large Market in the Netherlands in 2014.
