Wijndomein Heerenhuys d’r Pley

Since 2004, as one of the members of the Noorbeek viticulture association, Pierre Gubbels has been involved in viticulture .

Later, the vineyard of this association, "Op Gen Heugde" with 1150 Pinot Gris vines was acquired and added to the Heerenhuys d'r Pley estate.

5 vineyards
In the following years until 2021, a total of 5 vineyards planted with the following grape varieties:
- 2009 Vineyard "Noordal" with 800 vines of Chardonay
- 2018 Vineyard "Chritien" with 320 vines of Chardonnay.
- 2020 Vineyard "Asberg" with 760 vines of Chardonnay, 399 vines of Pinot Meunier and 380 vines of Pinot Noir
- 2021 Vineyard "Gen Akkeret" with 1042 sticks of Chenin Blanc, 991 sticks of Chardonnay, 528 sticks of Pinot Meunier and 568 sticks of Pinot Noir.

Besides still wines, the plan was made to start making sparkling wine in the (near) future, hence the planting of the typical combination of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. So in a while, "The bubbles of Gubbels" may have been added to the range.

From 2020, Joep Gubbels (son) also joined the winery and the future for the estate is assured.

All of Heerenhuys d'r Pley's vineyards are located around Noorbeek and have beautiful terroirs.

Over the years, the wines have continued to improve and were judged with several Silver and Gold medals at Mundus Vinci, one of the largest international wine awards.

Heerenhuys d'r Pley's wines are served at restaurants in Noorbeek and at several starred restaurants both in Limburg and abroad.

Guided tours and tastings
The estate has a beautiful old wine cellar, where tastings and guided tours are held, where the wines can be tasted in a typically intimate atmosphere.

There is also a beautiful 7 km vineyard walk in Noorbeek along the Noorbeek vineyards.
