Toneelgroep Maastricht is one of the great national theatre companies, the city company of Maastricht and the in-house company of Theater aan het Vrijthof. The image of man is central to Toneelgroep Maastricht's productions and that image is - in spite of the spirit of the times - positive.
The company is directed by Michel Sluysmans and Frans Hendrickx. Director Servé Hermans develops his own performances under the wings of the company and Zorba Huisman goes through a talent development programme. Toneelgroep Maastricht wants to be a company that Limburg is proud of and that the Netherlands and Flanders remain curious about.
De Bordenhal is Toneelgroep Maastricht's own theatre.
