Landgoed Overst
Landgoed Overst includes several grape varieties, both white and red. With careful manual harvesting and selection, they produce white, red, rosé, sparkling and sweet dessert wines.

At Landgoed Overst, they have planted different grapes over the years, both white and red. Some ripen earlier than others, which is why they never harvest all at once. But the first harvest is by hand, so an initial selection of healthy fruit is already made in the vineyard itself.
At Landgoed Overst, we make white and red wines, rosé, sparkling wines and sweet dessert wines. All wines ferment and rest in temperature-controlled steel tanks, after which the style of wine determines what happens next: white wines and rosé stay in steel tanks, sparkling wines go into bottle for bubbles and red wines rest in oak barrels up to 500 litres in size.
From April, the wines are filtered, ready for bottling. Harvesting, processing, filtering and bottling take place entirely on their own farm. With care, love and passion, they try to take maximum care of their wines every day.
The only one that briefly makes a trip to Germany is their sparkling wine; this wine is taken to Graach in spring where it gets its 2nd fermentation in the bottle and then returns to Voerendaal after 16 months.
All wines have a screw cap, "except their sparkling wine". A deliberate choice from the very beginning, as this preserves the characteristic fruitiness and freshness in the best possible way.
