Where did this wonderful business in the Maastricht district of Wyck come from, too? We take you back to the 1920s, more than a century ago. That's when the Maastricht brother and sister Schrijnemaekers started a patisserie in Brussels: Patisserie Royale. After they became homesick for Maastricht, they founded Patisserie Royale at 13 Wycker Brugstraat, where you can still find this special establishment.
A lot has happened since the patisserie was taken over by the Struijcken family in the 1970s. What has always remained unchanged is the incredible passion for patisserie. You can see and taste this in everything they make. High-quality pastries, the most beautiful Limburg flans and refined local delicacies. Today, Sabine, with her young and fresh outlook, is at the helm of the shop, where she proudly takes you into the world of Royale patisserie every day.
