Magical winter walk through Maastricht
Discover Maastricht on an atmospheric winter walk led by an Official Maastricht Guide. The walk starts at the historic Dinghuis, where you’ll be welcomed with coffee, tea or non-alcoholic mulled wine and a tasty treat.
You’ll then explore various special spots in the city together with the guide. The route takes you through the Jeker Quarter, a distinctive part of Maastricht with historic façades, narrow streets and charming squares. Along the way, the guide will talk about Maastricht’s history and share various stories and anecdotes about the city and its inhabitants. This way, during the walk, you’ll get a real sense of Maastricht’s historical and cultural character.
The walk ends at the Vrijthof, where you can soak up the winter atmosphere of Magical Maastricht Vrijthof. Amidst the atmospheric illuminations and cosy Christmas stalls, you’ll round off your walk in the heart of the city.
