Frissen-Pieters

Business has been ‘blooming’ at Frissen-Pieters since 1847. Owner Michel (the fifth generation to run the business) runs this fantastic (small but oh-so-charming) florist’s together with his wife Loes. Located on Onze-Lieve-Vrouwenplein, this is the place to go for regal bouquets (because, yes, they’re a purveyor to the royal household!) and beautiful decorative items such as unique vases and figurines. The florist’s trade is truly in their blood, and they illustrate this with a lovely anecdote: ‘One of our daughters is called Bloeme. After she was born, our son Sebastiaan used to look at us strangely whenever we went to sell flowers or had to water them. He thought we were talking about his little sister…’ We wouldn’t be at all surprised if the trade has been instilled in them from a very young age.

Florist De Rozengaard

For 25 years, Bloemisterij De Rozengaard has been a true florist’s paradise in Maastricht. Situated on Stationsstraat, between the station and the old bridge, this cosy shop is run by an enthusiastic team who, every day, create the most beautiful bouquets, floral arrangements and special compositions with passion. From spontaneous bouquets to funeral and wedding arrangements, everything here revolves around quality and service. And believe us, the love for the craft is clearly evident in every creation.

Belfleur - Sint Pieter

Since 2008, Belfleur has been the place to go for the most beautiful bouquets. The staff at this shop (which you can visit not only in Sint Pieter but also in the Belfort neighbourhood) are known for more than just their passion for flowers. Their connection to the neighbourhood is something that truly characterises them and perhaps even sets them apart. What do their customers come for? From weddings to farewells, people want to convey their message with flowers at life’s most special moments. This leads to some truly special encounters... Extra tip: pop in here after a lovely walk across the Mount Saint Peter and treat yourself to a delicious slice of vlaai at Peter Lemmens (across the road).

Splendour Flowers - Maastricht

A little younger in Maastricht, but definitely recommended. Pracht Bloemen Maastricht has been located on the Grote Gracht in the heart of the city since 2016. Not only for the most colourful bouquets, the owners invite you to visit, but also definitely for the wide range of houseplants. If you already have trouble keeping a cactus alive, we hear you! The great thing about the team at Pracht Bloemen is that they always provide you with the best care advice so you can enjoy your greenery in your home for as long as possible.

Flower shop Ramaekers

On the road between the Sint-Servaasbrug and the railway station, in one of the most beautiful spots in Wyck, you’ll find Ramaekers Florists. Since 1989, this charming flower kiosk has been situated right in the middle of the Percee, better known as ‘the little square in front of the Poshoorn’. Have you spent a lovely day shopping in Wyck? Treat yourself to a beautiful bouquet before heading home. Flowers make your day!
