Lumière Open Air Film Festival
For the seventh year in a row Lumière Maastricht organises twelve film evenings under the stars, where film, meeting people and experience come together. Bring your friends, plop down in one of our iconic beach chairs and enjoy the best films!
The outdoor film festival has become a popular summer event in the city since its first, completely sold-out edition in 2020. With a capacity of as many as 300 visitors per evening, the festival offers a unique outdoor film experience.
This year we are celebrating a special anniversary: 50 years of Lumière! Therefore, this edition of Lumière Open Air promises to be extra special.

Make a note in your diary: the programme will be announced in mid-June and ticket sales will start.
Location
You are welcome at the Richie Backfire Square (the courtyard behind Lumière). You can reach the festival site via the stairs next to the main entrance.
