JekerJazz Maastricht began in 1991 as a small initiative organised by Café Chriscus and has grown into a city-wide festival featuring live music in Maastricht’s cafés. The festival offers concerts that are free to attend for everyone.

The charm of JekerJazz lies in the diversity of musical genres and the Burgundian hospitality. The foundation strives to make music and art accessible to all, in collaboration with musicians, artists and local entrepreneurs. All this is made possible by a team of enthusiastic volunteers. Check out this edition's programme on the website and enjoy various concerts, where enjoying and having fun are paramount!

JekerJazz 2026
From Thursday 8 to Sunday 11 October, Maastricht’s city centre will be buzzing with the JekerJazz Festival 2026. Spread across more than 45 stages and indoor and outdoor venues, there will be over 90 performances to enjoy.

From jazz and blues to soul, Latin, funk, Americana and French chansons: there’s music for every music lover. Local venues open their doors to both established national and international artists and regional talent.

The 2026 edition kicks off with a special collaboration with nederlandse Dansdagen. On Thursday 8 October, JekerJazz, in collaboration with nederlandse Dansdagen, will provide live music in the iconic spiegeltent on the Vrijthof. This unique artistic collaboration bridges the gap between the dance festival’s festive finale and the official kick-off of the JekerJazz weekend. Entry to the festival is free.
