Pure Running Maastricht
Sunday 11 October
Leave your sports watch at home and discover just how well you know your own body during this unique running event through the Jekerdal.
Running without technology
Pure Running challenges participants to run a 5-kilometre loop without a watch, app or any other technology. It’s not about the numbers along the way, but about feeling, rhythm and body awareness. A refreshing way to run that is also used by many top athletes to improve both their performance and their enjoyment of running.
Become the “Purest Runner”
When you register for free, you’ll be asked to submit your estimated finishing time in advance. Whoever estimates their finishing time most accurately can call themselves the “Purest Runner” and stands a chance of winning great prizes. So it’s not just about speed, but above all about self-awareness.
Practical information
The race starts at 11.00 am at Sportpark Jekerdal. The 5-kilometre course takes you through the leafy Jekerpark via two loops and finishes back at the athletics track, where music, supporters and a lively atmosphere await you. The prize-giving ceremony takes place at 12.30 pm.
