Colombia in Maastricht

At this concert, two youth ensembles will perform from Colombia: a youth symphonic orchestra and a youth harmony. They will perform a varied programme with, on the one hand, music they will perform at the European Youth Music Festival in Neerpelt, and, on the other, upbeat Colombian melodies.

Radiant Start of a Musical Journey in Maastricht
Both groups have travelled to Europe especially to take part in the European Music Festival for Youth in Neerpelt. The concert in Maastricht is their first performance on European soil and at the same time their try-out for participation in this international music competition.They have been working diligently towards this trip over the past months, and are really looking forward to sharing their programme with their Maastricht audience for the first time. As a festive finale, they will perform a final number together, a musical moment of brotherhood that will give this concert an extra sparkle.
