Introdans - ENERGY

In the programme, Introdans presents two existing choreographies and two world premieres by choreographers with Mediterranean roots. The result is a vibrant programme that brings together expressiveness, musicality and contemporary dance language.

Sofia NappiI - Tagadá
In 2021, Sofia Nappi received the Introdans Partner Award. This season, Introdans shows her successful group creation Tagadá, set to music by Daft Punk and others. Nappi uses the Italian fairground attraction tagadá as a metaphor for the unpredictability of life.

Andonis Foniadakis - New creation
Selon désir by Andonis Foniadakis was one of the audience favourites from Introdans' 2023 BACH programme. Now Foniadakis is back with a new creation made especially for the Introdans ensemble. Extreme suppleness and exuberant energy are the fixtures in his work.

Aristide Rontini - New creation
Aristide Rontini knows from his own experience how important it is to set new standards in dance and beyond. Themes in his work are identity, the relationship between the individual and the community and between nature and culture. At the invitation of Introdans, Rontini is making a new creation for ENERGY.

Gustavo Ramírez Sansano - Flabbergast
Gustavo Ramírez Sansano made waves with Flabbergast. In this stunning choreography, Sansano embraces his Spanish roots with the rousing music of Mexican composer Juan García Esquivel. The dancers explore their desires, identity and each other in the atmosphere of the fifties.
