With approximately 400 stalls, the Friday Market (‘Vrijdag Markt’) is one of the largest general markets in the Euregio. The fish market on adjacent Boschstraat is particularly popular with weekly customers from Belgium and northern France. The market also offers a wide range of fabrics and haberdashery.
The Friday Market is now also held on two other adjoining streets: Mosae Forum, with a large flower and plant market, and Hoenderstraat, offering more innovative market concepts.
In 2014, the Friday Market was voted the best large market in the Netherlands.
