‘According to Guy the image may have breasts, but for Paul, it must have balls.’ Making a selection for an exhibition in this new gallery was a matter of Kill Your Darlings. For this double exposition, both ‘lady killers’ have selected a number of eye-catchers suitable for showing during TEFAF.

The career of Guy van Grinsven is varied. From advertising to press photographer, from glamour to court photographer, in various photographic disciplines, he feels at home. Guy has also earned his stripes as a television maker with both revealing and shocking reports. His poignant photo and video reports as an eyewitness to the attacks on the World Trade Center on 9/11 in NYC testify to this. Moreover, in his humanitarian documentaries in distant countries as well as in Blootgewoon, a television program on Dutch national television, Guy captures the beauty of an authentic moment like no other, a reality created to perfection. His studio work and his own view of eroticism are also fascinating, and his love of busty feminine beauty is clearly but tastefully visible. During TEFAF, some of these eye-catchers can be seen at Fosse gallery and are for sale in limited edition.

Paul Odekerken may not have stepped into the rye bread factory of his father; however, he has continued ‘baking’, i.e. in ceramics. As an artist with entrepreneurial blood, it was not long before he had a company of his own in ceramics with seven employees, supplying, amongst others, to the renowned brand Pols Potten. In the following years, he has had an exclusive series of works produced by third parties. Furthermore, he works as a designer for the well-known brand Domani. As an individual artist, Paul’s work is unique. A few of his pieces are exhibited during TEFAF. Paul creates perfect beauty through idiosyncratic forms with open structures, often finished with silver or gold leaf.
