Princess Beatrix Lecture 2024
MaastrichtAdmiral Rob Bauer, Chair of the NATO Military Committee and the alliance’s highest-ranking military officer, will deliver the second Princess Beatrix Lecture titled "‘NATO in a new era of collective defence: if you want peace, prepare for war".

In his address, Admiral Bauer will explore the theme of societal resilience in the context of collective defence and security challenges, offering insights on how a united Europe can rise to meet these threats.
The lecture will be moderated by Hylke Dijkstra, Professor of International Security and Cooperation at Maastricht University.
