Solo is an intimate dance and theater concert. A solo group creation, full of emotion, achievable with imposed distance, but tangibly close to the audience. With this creation, Van Daele wants to look back on a chapter of a person during a pandemic. From a distance (for the time being), he will forge them into intimate portraits about loneliness, fear, loss, love, hope and compassion. He hereby invites various artists from around the world, with whom he has collaborated, to share the emotions surrounding this intense time.

Van Daele will collaborate with various composers who are inspired by Ravel’s Bolero. In a pulsating cadence where gloomy thoughts fade and new hopes emerge.
