This year, 2023, is an important milestone for Chamber Choir Quartna! Quartna has been rehearsing, performing concerts and, above all, having fun making music in Maastricht for 40 years. Choir members stayed and left, new members came and conductors succeeded each other. Slowly but surely the choir managed to carve out a place in the amateur musical life in the region. Forty years of singing in Quartna is reason for a festive and colorful concert. For this concert, the choir has made a selection from the choral works that it has been singing since 1983. The program includes works by H. Andriessen, J.C. Bach, J. Dowland, P. Hindemith, M. Hogan (arr), A. Kerkhof (arr.), R. Mauersberger, F. Mendelssohn, J. Rheinberger and Th. Tallis.
