Primordial whales from the Western Scheldt lecture by Klaas Post

From the murky depths of the Western Scheldt fossils of at least five cetaceans (whales and relatives) that have proved new to science have been trawled in recent years. Is this a site that yields yet unknown, large marine mammals that cruised these coasts between 8,1 and 7,5 million years ago? Klaas Post, associated with the Natural History Museum Rotterdam, will discuss this fact. Age: From 10 years.
