Korean artist Hyesoo Park explores the tension felt by Koreans between the pressure to build a career and the pursuit of a fulfilling personal life. The exhibition features "Our Joyful Young Days" (2022), where retired factory workers are interviewed about their first loves. For Marres, Hyesoo Park is preparing a new installation based on love stories from Limburg.

Jinju Lee utilizes profound observations about life and our reality to create detailed images of memory fragments or everyday objects with symbolic meanings. Employing techniques from Eastern painting, she crafts intense, strangely felt scenes grounded in the real world. Her works encompass encapsulated memories, floating islands, and introverted landscapes with solitary figures that are both poignant and unsettling.

James Webb is renowned for his site-specific interventions and installations, incorporating sound, found objects, and text while referencing literature, film, and minimalist traditions. By placing objects, techniques, and forms outside their original context and introducing them to various environments, Webb creates new tension spaces. These spaces connect his academic background in religion, theater, and advertising, offering poetic explorations into the economies of belief and the dynamics of communication in our contemporary world.
