The exhibition delves into the South Limburg dossier, the future of the design of the Limburg landscape and infrastructure. A unique collaboration with the model railway association De Percee (Maastricht) has been established. Additionally, the latest edition of Embracing Exchange takes center stage at Bureau Europa. When you superimpose the map of the London Underground onto the landscape of the Euregion Maas-Rhine, you can envision its potential. The region boasts cities, stunning nature, and international allure. With 3.9 million residents of three nationalities speaking diverse languages (including numerous dialects), along with numerous schools and universities, the Euregion has cultivated its own cross-border culture.

An OASIS, so to speak, that simultaneously faces challenges to maintain its oasis status.

During times of crisis, such as climate change and related issues, completely transforming the status quo is a formidable challenge for the border region. Radical choices must be made. Without genuine transformation, the challenges confronting the Euregion cannot be addressed sustainably. Bureau Europa has enlisted the curators from the architecture firm Maurer United to create a presentation driven by their fascination with shaping the South Limburg landscape. This presentation looks ahead to the future of landscapes in general, offers insights into the intricacies of the craft, and invites colleagues to showcase their work.
