Domein Holset

Domein Holset 's vineyards are located within the Mergelland PDO in the villages of Holset (6 ha), Gulpen-Wittem (3 ha), Voerendaal and Klimmen (3 ha) and Meerssen (1.5 ha).

The location of Domein Holset is where the passion for wine, nature and the profession come together. Visitors are always welcome to taste the wines, buy or stay overnight stay. With eleven unique rooms, Domein Holset offers a pleasant stay. Guests can choose a comfortable room in the winery or a deluxe room overlooking the vineyard.

The wines
The range includes The Prince, Classic, Dame Reserve or Ceramic from Holset!

The wines range from fresh and fruity to elegant and complex, each with a twist of its own. They are made from souvignier gris, cabernet blanc, johanniter, chardonnay and pinot noir, grapes that thrive in the local climate and are excellent for quality sparkling wine using the traditional method. The wines are available in the wine shop on the estate and via the webshop, and are also poured by sommeliers and wine specialists across the country.

Tours & Tastings
Interested in the wines of Domein Holset? As a Sparkling Wine House, Domein Holset produces four unique sparkling wines. To learn more about the special location, book a guided tour in combination with a tasting.

The wine specialists will start the tour with a story about the Domain, followed by an engaging walk through the vineyard (so wear sturdy shoes). The tour concludes with a tasting of three sparkling wines. If you want to taste alone without a tour, that is also possible. During a tasting, the three sparkling wines will be served, and we will be happy to tell you the story behind them. The tasting can be extended with a bites plate with local products.
