What exactly Wukir Suryadi will do remains largely secret. The Indonesian composer and instrument builder is known for his theatrical performances in which ancient Javanese traditions merge with contemporary music and experimental soundscapes.
From meditation to explosion
Together with beatboxer DavidX and DJ/VJ Madame Macario, an intense live experience is created. Expect a whimsical mix of rhythmic eruptions, hypnotic moments and audiovisual experiments. As the makers themselves say, "Expect the worst to experience the best."
Workshop and performance
Besides the performance, there are also workshops where visitors can get to work with instrument building and beatbox themselves. A unique opportunity to get to know the creative process behind this extraordinary performance.
