On Earth Day, Lumière, in collaboration with Green Office of Universiteit Maastricht, is screening Agatha's Almanac, a tranquil and observing documentary about a woman who lives in close connection with nature. In the rhythm of the seasons and everyday actions, a portrait of simplicity, care and attention unfolds.
Introduction
Prior to the film, an introduction (English) will take place in which the theme of the documentary and its relevance in the context of Earth Day will be discussed. Afterwards, you are welcome to join the debriefing in the Foyer.
About Earth Day
Earth Day is a moment of awareness: an invitation to look not only at the major climate issues, but also at the way we live, consume and interact with our environment on a daily basis. In that sense, Agatha's Almanac does not offer answers, but a different perspective that starts from attention, rhythm and connection with the earth.
