A grand concert in which music, song and images combine to form a musical journey through Limburg's history.
On Saturday 30 May 2026, Harmonie Amicitia Vilt and Harmonie Kur-Kapel Falcobergia Valkenburg will join forces for a unique concert in the Polfermolen Valkenburg. For this occasion, both associations will form one large wind band and take the audience on a musical journey through time in Limburg: from the Romans and Middle Ages to the mining past, the war years and today's wind band tradition.
The programme is varied and accessible: concert works, marching music and recognisable (Limburgian) melodies are complemented by singing and presentation by Dyanne Sleijpen. She sings in Limburgish, Dutch and English and is accompanied by a combo and the brass band. The drum band, led by Jo Meijs, also provides an extra rhythmic dimension. The orchestra is alternately conducted by Philip Seerden and Borja Romero González. Visual material supports the music and enhances the overall experience.
