For young makers: drawing, watching and playing with poetry
Those who cannot yet read like to look at pictures. The most fun, of course, is to do both. We will hide a poem in a drawing.
MAAK! is a monthly children's activity with a diverse and creative programme provided by art teachers Nicole Mulkens and Marlies de Jong. The same teachers but always a different subject and of course a book, the Maastricht Museum and/or the NHM in the leading role.
MAAK! focuses its activities on children aged 6 on average. If you are older or younger, you can of course join in too. If you are younger (4 or 5 years old), your (grand)parent/guide will help you with the activity. In any case, one adult supervisor per child is welcome. Admission is free, registration is required.

Location
The modern Céramique district is characterised by its unusual architecture, where Maastricht's industrial past can still be felt, while at the same time you are in the newest and most modern part of the city.
