A house full of textiles and imagination
For Rubyfruit Jungle, Celina Eceiza transforms Marres' house into an immersive installation. Walls and ceilings are covered with handcrafted textiles, while the floors are made up of conjoined garments. The result is a colourful, soft environment full of images of bodies, nature and fantasy.
A place to experience
This exhibition is more than just looking. Soft surfaces invite you to sit, rest and slow down. The project is created in cooperation with Stichting Werkhuis and includes workshops and a public programme. In this way, the exhibition becomes not only a work of art, but also a shared space for creation and encounter.
Grand opening
The grand opening of Celina Eceiza's exhibition is on 3 October.

Location
The Staten Quarter is located in the centre of Maastricht, between the city centre and the Sphinx Quarter. It is a real residential area, but you will also find special monuments, surprising cultural institutions and nice local shops.
