Celebrate 30 years of Ad Mosam with a sparkling anniversary concert full of masterpieces by Bach, Handel and Vivaldi, performed by top musicians from home and abroad.
30 years of Ad Mosam
Ad Mosam celebrates its 30th anniversary as the baroque ensemble of the Southern Netherlands. With top singers and instrumentalists from home and abroad, the ensemble performs a festive programme full of baroque gems by Bach, Handel and Vivaldi.
An evening full of highlights
The anniversary concert opens with Bach's sparkling choral Wachet auf, followed by virtuoso arias by Handel. Then you will hear Winter from Vivaldi's Four Seasons, full of icy tension and expressive violin sounds. The first movement closes with Handel's magisterial Zadok the Priest.
After the interval, Bach's festive cantata Christen, ätzet diesen Tag will be performed, complete with jubilant trumpets and powerful choirs. Conductor Huub Ehlen gives unique insights into the music and composers in between, making the listening experience extra rich.
